The Oakland Raiders 2012 season hasn’t gone according to plan so far, but recovering from a 1-3 start isn’t necessarily impossible, however, defeating the 5-0 Falcons may be a more difficult task than turning around the season. The Falcons have been firing on all cylinders this season with a well rounded team. The Falcons have the 6th ranked offense, and the 8th ranked defense, while the Raiders are the opposite, they rank near the bottom in both categories. The Falcons are 7.5 point favorites over the Raiders, but this isn’t a game that the Raiders can’t win.

The Raiders haven’t put together a good season in years, but it’s not too late for them to turn it around, and that will have to begin with a win in Atlanta. Darren McFadden was touted as on the of the most talented running backs prior to the 2012 NFL season, after playing in all of the Raiders first four games, he has not played like that. For the Raiders to stand a chance today, they will need McFadden to break out of his slump and play a great game, additionally, the Raiders will also need Palmer and the young receivers to step up and make plays, because the will likely need to put a lot of points on the board to have a chance to beat the Falcons.
